This is a short novel of the death of the beloved Tsarevich Alexei Nikolaevich, a hemophiliac, as told from the perspective of his elder sister, Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna, including insight on the marriages of Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatiana and Maria, and the trials of the unmarried Anastasia.
