Lt. Cdr. Wilfredo "Maverick" Fernandez is a hotshot Top Gun fighter pilot with a reckless personality.

He always has a knack for flying his F-18E at breakneck speeds. Put in hack three times. Has a history of high speed passes over five air traffic control towers. And three admirals' daughters.

Having enough of his shenanigans. His commanding officer decided to ground him even though he is the one of best pilots on his strike group.

Receiving complaints from the ship girls about the commanders that had been previously assigned to Azur Lane are either sadistic perverts or lolicons. The top navy officials formally sent the order to all carrier strike groups to recommend personnel whom they feel are qualified to be the base commander. 

Thinking that this could be a golden opportunity to make Maverick mellow down on his need for speed. Admiral William J. Johnson recommends the reckless pilot to be reassigned as the new base commander of Azur Lane.

The hotshot pilot questions the decision to make him a base commander. That is until he meets the ship girl who's like him. A girl who is named after the most decorated warship in history of naval warfare. Will he stay as long as the base commander? Or will he ask to be reassign back to his carrier strike group? USS Enterprise (CV-6), a floating city of steel. After a stellar service career in World War 2. She was decommissioned in 1958. She's the only ship that earned 20 battle stars. And a presidential unit citation. In an alternate world war 2 timeline. She was called into action along with other ship girls to fight an alien race from another dimension called Sirens. They pushed away humanity from the high seas. Humanity formed an alliance called Azur Lane. The alliance consisted of all the major countries that fought each other during the second world war. Azur Lane was able to repulse the Sirens and brought back peace in the planet. At this point all of the ship girls returned to their normal state. Some went back to the very waters where they were sunk. Others became ship museums. The ones turned into museums were considered the lucky ones. But not for Enterprise. Her scrapping is inevitable. The fight for her to be turned into a ship museum failed. And majority of her steel was used to build USS Enterprise (CVN-65). But somehow her ship girl form suddenly resurfaces in a time when a ninth ship bearing her name has been successfully built and launched. She will also meet her daughter who was made from majority of her steel. Once again the Sirens threatened humanity in the present time. The ship girls from the past have been recalled back into action. Many of the nations thought that Enterprise will never be seen again. That was until she's seen serving as a member of the US Secret Service under a new name and identity. Will she go back to her original duties or will she remain working for the Secret Service? However their are not that many men commanders, and the last commander at the Royal Navy was a man who did something that makes all of the ships very suspicious and untrustworthy of you. The rest of the nations have the same problem of not having many male commanders, because it is hard to find a man who will not overstep his boundaries. (Y/N) is a kind, caring, and gentle soul. However his outside appearance is a very intimidating one, which does not help in convincing the ships that he just wants what's best for them. He starts off with every ship not liking him because of the commander before him. But he does not stop trying, and there are some ships from each nation that sees (Y/N)'s true self. Thee ships soon fall in love with him as he treats everyone under his command with care and respect. (A/N): I have never watched the Azur Lane show, I just really like the mobile game so I made this.
