Ginny was living her completely normal life, just starting her troubled summer before her eighth year, when she received news from her mother that would turn her whole world upside down.
With this new information in mind, and the re-sorting next year, she didn't know what her future would hold. She wasn't allowed to tell anyone what was happening, so how was she going to stay with Harry if he didn't understand? All she knew, was that one sentence could change her entire life.

Most characters are still alive. It's set after the war, where the Golden trio go back to hogwarts for their eighth year. (I also decided to make Ginny an eighth year, even though she's the age of a seventh year. ) Even though Voldemort is dead, people still worry that the Death Eaters will strike again. Because of this worry, a lot of the seventh and eighth years are getting married.
I'm writing this on my phone so you have been warned- there will be plenty of grammar and spelling mistakes.
Sadly I do not own Harry Potter, the author J.K Rowling does. I don't want to put this in every chapter so here it is now.

The Fifth Element 1:Potions Lessons (Dramione)
I published the fourth chapter of my fanfic, along with the pilot chapter of my story called Potion Class. I have started writing the fifth chapter. The main plot really begins from this chapter onward. The first book of my fanfic series, which will consist of at least two books, is set in the Harry Potter universe and is called Potion Class. In addition to the main series, there will be a novella about Helena Ravenclaw, set a thousand years earlier in the same universe. If it interests you, stay tuned ⚡. To read this series, you don't need to have read/watched the main series. I wrote it in a way that anyone can understand. If you know the main series, you can catch the references, but otherwise, you won't miss anything. My story includes changes and additions to the magic system and the universe. This series is independent from the original series, taking an alternate look at school years I created myself. The plot and storyline are mine. I included many references to the original series and tried to keep the characters as true to their original forms as possible. Of course, I also added a bit of my own interpretation. (The character I changed the most is Draco Malfoy.) In the first book, our characters are 16-17 years old. I don't know how long I will continue the series. For now, I'm thinking of it as two books. As the series continues, the characters will age.
