katie heartsmith is a friend of emily prentiss, from interpol. she's tranferred to the bau to be closer to her step-sister, who's been doing quite awful in school recently. hannah walsh, katie's step-sister, is a sophmore at a public highschool in virginia.
on her first day at the bau, katie meet's dr. spencer reid. spencer overhears her talking to hannah on the phone, and offers to help tutor hannah.
katies is quick to inform him that she can handle it, but even katie knows that's not true.
she decides to call him..she can't take it anymore.
what's supposed to be study sessions for hannah's benefit, may turn into something more...
