William Wendell was a simple cartographer and arcane calligrapher who traveled with his sister Emma, who drives across the kingdom of Numenia as a merchant. After hearing his sister's countless complaints about the maps of the wild eastern edge of the kingdom, he agrees to join her to redraw the maps. As they progressed crossed the kingdom, they arrived at the largest village of the east Becketton.
