Long ago, 6 elemental Dragons; Flavius the Fire Dragon, Tsuna the Water Dragon, Terraki the Earth Dragon, Venti the Air Dragon, Solaris the Light Dragon, and Lunaris the Dark Dragon, ruled the world. Then, they mysteriously disappeared. But, a while after their disappearance, kids began to be born with the powers of one of the Dragons. Skip forward a few hundred years and almost everyone has powers that everyone now calls 'Dragon Soul' (Due to the idea that the powers are actually peices of that Dragon's soul) Most users of Dragon Soul use it to battle other people to see who is the strongest user of their powers. And some of the best Dragon Soul users have created a team called Team Dragon Tail. Lyra Scarlet is a huge Dragon Tail fan. She wants to join them more than anything. But with her not-so-powerful powers and general unpopularity, her chances of joining Dragon Tail are slim to none. Will that change? You'll have to read the book to find out! The fire elves are a very old species, dating back to the time of The Great War, centuries ago. Elves are distant descendants of the Goddess of Elements, The First Elf. Elementals, the children of elves after centuries of descent. Humans are the most common species, and are generally magicless. Humans with magic are called mages . Occasionally and elf would leave home and into the world, but no fire elf has ever left their home and had children living on the mainland so there are no fire elementals. Fire elves have a bond with the dragons who's volcanoes and islands they shared, a bond that would last generations. In the current day, there is one tribe remaining: the Ryoko Tribe. The name meant "woman who is like the dragon," a fitting name for a tribe led by a head woman. This woman was lady Hyria Tatsu, the eldest of the tribe. Her apprentice goes by the name of Mina Ryoto. Star and Moon, two dragonets, would only bond with Mina. None of the other children were able to bond with the two dragonets. This was one of the reasons Hyria had chosen Mina.
