Frisk, a human who has fallen into the underground, quickly finds themselves in a situation with bloodthirsty monsters lusting for human flesh. Some monsters are not like this however, as Frisk soon finds out. This act is caused by a deadly toxin called Caratine, which can drive monsters mad, kill them, or have nothing happen to them at all. This toxin has been known to have been released by the very first fallen human, but Frisk knows well it was not Chara, her ghost friend that helps her around the underground, who did it. So the question here is... who?

This story is inspired by many other works and may bear some resemblance in certain places. However, I will endeavor to make this story it's own. 2 years ago monsters were released from the underground, ending their centuries-long imprisonment at the hands of ancient humans. Not a soul remains in the underground. But that doesn't mean no one's there. Be it chance or fate, The First Fallen will soon meet an all too curious human as he ventures into the deep beneath. The Reader or [Y/n] is male and Chara is female. I apologize if this bothers you it's just how I've always seen the character. Disclaimer: I don't own these Chara-cters nor do I own Undertale. What will they do, will they do the genocide route and become a megalomaniac? Nope, they want to be everyone's friend and get their version of a perfect ending.

In the undertale universe a human fell down into the underground (AKA the monsters' home) this human is known as Frisk. She (Canonically she is gender neutral but for the sake of the fanfic they will be known as a she) befriended the entire underground by freeing them from a seemingly eternal spell that trapped them down there for many years. Though to get there Frisk had to sacrifice a friend (Asriel) and from that day on frisk just couldn't get the fact that she couldn't save someone out of her head. A discontent Frisk chooses to return to the underground before leaving to join civilization with his new friends and family with the goal of saving Asriel Dreemurr. Along the way he awakens to a strange power and does battle with a strange dark malevolent force that had revealed itself to be within the underground with the absence of monsters. Frisk must endure various trials set upon him by a mysterious monster that lives in shadows whilst also grappling with troubling memories returning after the amnesia he suffered during his adventures in the underground begins to disappear.
