That letter is always at the back of her mind, she knows who's initials were in it, Cassie rose, but how? She couldn't have survived... right?

When Jesse isn't by herself, wondering who else could be W.P, or helping beacon town as hero in residence. she's usually with Lukas playing with his ocelots, walking in the streets of beacon town discussing books, and occasionally mounting his horses, riding through the night until the sun comes back up.

She's been noticing a change in their relationship, it's become more personal, and she's been feeling a lot more comfortable in his company. But at the same time, she feels flustered and nervous at the sight of him.

Lukas secretly feels the same . though he has been feeling this ever since her and Jesse became good friends. Unlike Jesse he recognizes the feeling of admiration and fluster towards her, he loves her. How could he not! She's Sweet, Independent, funny and always has something interesting to say.

And she is the most wonderful person he has ever met, her smile lights up the room, her loose brown hair sways magically even with the lightest breeze and he loves losing himself in her her beautiful, warm, hazelnut eyes, she always puts herself before others and has never gave up on him even in the toughest times. He would give everything he had for one moment with her.

the letters keep coming, Jesse becomes more and more concerned, she and Lukas go of and try to find Cassie, leading them into a traumatic experience where they find themselves in a seemingly endless frozen tundra, they will need every ounce of strength they have to survive. they will never forget it, no matter how much they try.
