WARNING #2: This story was heavily inspired by the '1|Not Alone' chapter in the 'sokeefe oneshots' book by @aprilbluess! I highly recommend you to read it, because it's just so cute and filled with sokeefe fluff!
WARNING #3: This story is sort of a sequel to Wait by @Sophie62442, which means it basically follows what happens three days after the ending in Wait! Naturally, I'd advise you to read Wait first before you come back here, but this can also be read independently as all background information is provided - including spoilers for Wait!
WARNING #4: Like I said before, this oneshot follows behind Wait and so there will obviously be spoilers for Wait inside, but Wait also contains MAJOR Legacy spoilers so go read Legacy before reading Wait! After The Wait (this book) doesn't contain spoilers from any of the Keeper books, but reading Wait before this is still highly advisable!
