This is an HTTYD fanfic for POC readers only. I've seen people talk about how normal "X Reader" Fanfics aren't that inclusive to people of color, I myself have made an X Reader fanfic that has traits specifically relates to people who are white. If you want a story like that go read something else this is specifically for POC readers. Mind you, you can still read this if you are white, but it won't fit your traits. Now then, to my POC readers, I want you to know I am white. I will try and write this story for you, and of course, I will do research and try my best to write this for you. Also, feel free in the comments to correct things if they are wrong and you can help me write this story together.  On to the actual story: 

Berk, the sworn enemy of the Völsung Clan located on the island Heillboer far west from the dragon-riding clan. They were known for dragon napping, taking dragons, and selling them off, and killing them. which the Berkians were displeased by. This is ironic since they used to kill dragons, but it all changed when a young boy befriended the only Nightfury left in existence, since then Berks's ways have changed.  With Hiccup and his gang of dragon riders constantly interfering with the Völsung Clans economy, the two Viking clans are on the brink of war, but can they put their differences aside? Can they become an alliance when a threat grows bigger which affects the existence of dragons altogether?

After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this? The name is given to those who won't survive their first winter. Those who don't belong, those who will not be any more than a burden. Hiccup isn't an exception to this. I mean, sure he survived his first winter, and the next fifteen. But he caused problems, not on purpose. Things just happened when he was around. First when he was six, and a nearby furnace blew up when he lost his temper. Then when he was eight, nine, eleven. These strange happenings kept occurring, and nothing he did helped. Everything he did, everything he tried had some way of turning back on him. For the longest time he believe that the God's cursed him. But now, now he finds the blessings in the curse. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I really hope you enjoy this fanfic!! It focus' on Hiccup being a bit more than human.
