A re-writing of the last two Harry Potter books that explores how the relationship between Harry and Draco could have gone. The story focuses on both boy's constantly changing relationship and their acceptance of themselves, with just a bit of the original books plot and how the presence of Draco Malfoy changes it. If you like drarry, angst, drama and maybe a little (ahem, wink wink) smut, you'll like this story.

Harry Potter is an Auror. He and his boyfriend, Draco Malfoy, live together. Harry gets injured on the job, and Draco is not handling it very well. Harry's stuck in a magically-induced coma in order to make sure he doesn't worsen his condition. Draco is reminiscing on his positive memories with the boy who he's terrified he's going to lose. Harry was returning to Hogwarts alone, Hermione being recognised as a crucial player in the Ministry's efforts of returning the wizarding world to its former Glory. Ron, feeling like Hogwarts held to many soured memories to ever be a home again. When Harry manages to involve himself with dark people with darker intentions the last remaining faΓ§ade of normality slips away. Without his two closest friends to aid him on a journey of recovery, it seems like the next best answer will be with the reformed Malfoy.
