Bailey Derek Shepherd was given a pen from his dad right before he died. 16 years later, while rummaging through a box, he finds the pen again. He takes his journal and starts to write with it. 

Over in Polis, in a different reality, 16 year old, Madi Griffin, starts to see words appear in her mother's journal. She starts to write back using her friends pen that she was given long ago. 

When the two start to fall in love, they are eager to meet each other. But when Madi senses danger coming her way, as the leader of her people, Bailey has to get to her before Madi is lost forever. 

This story is in the perspective of Bailey and Madi, switching off during chapters. 

~This is a mixed story featuring characters from the shows Greys Anatomy and The 100, Bailey Derek Shepherd and Madi Griffin. This is also a "What if" storyline based on if Madi Griffin didn't die~
