A shadow is a hero that works in the shadows of a limelight hero, doing everything they can to ensure that their hero wouldn't die. However what happens when a hero dies and the shadow is left alone? That is something Izuku is facing right now. He was a shadow hero ever after he was abandoned by his mother and then sold of to the American headquarters. They not only trained him and gave him a quirk but also made him be a shadow. An existence that is never written down as alive. He was basically a ghost who never lived before and no one would ever remember a shadow's death.... however due to some reasons he gets back to Japan and what's more he becomes the number 2 shadow. There had been no trace of him except his red shoes, his letter and the puddle of blood the police identified as his at the site of an abandoned building that was set to be demolished later. But the emergence of a new information broker almost a year later sure is suspicious. Especially when he seems to be the most reliable source around and seems to balance both ends of the world at the tips of his fingers. The man who runs this whole network in Japan is just a mere boy of fifteen, known to the underworld and heroes alike as Fujishima Sai. Or just Sai, as he likes to call himself. He's never made a plan that wouldn't have a 100% chance of succeeding. But he won't admit to anyone that infiltrating the one place he swore he never would to save lives of those he despised slightly, was one of his worst plans yet.

Izuku Midoriya was never liked. As a kid, he was ostracized and left out of everything. All he wanted to do was play. He was bullied, ignored and beat almost every day but he kept going because he was going to become a hero, no matter what everyone else said. Sadly, everyone has a breaking point. Izuku Midoriya was pronounced missing on XX XX XXXX. He was pronounced dead the following week. Bakugo had to live with the knowledge that he killed his childhood friend and godbrother as he tried to become a hero in Izuku's honour. It's just a shame that Izuku was on the other side.Complete

As a kid, bullied and shunt, there was nothing to the outside world that Izuku didn't hate at all. So without even thinking twice, he shut himself in and started to do what he could do best... gather information.
