!! READ THE REWRITE (Go to my profile) !! Following the INCIDENT, the atmosphere in CLOSEBY shifted drastically. There was a noticeable increase in fear and aggression towards BASIL, fueling his growing resentment. Years of enduring pain caused by a particular individual had undoubtedly left its mark on him. But then, an unexpected turn of events brought a ray of hope into his life. This book is an opposite au, meaning that the character's personalities will be the opposite of their canon ver. For example, Sunny in this book is eccentric and outgoing while in the game he's quiet and keeps to himself. Just adding this because a lot of people are confused about why the characters are awful to each other and "OOC" lol. (I don't blame them) I'm writing this for 𝗳𝘂𝗻 and ideas are taken from my roleplays with my friends. P.S: Basil is an unreliable narrator, take his words and perception of things with a grain of salt. 9/9/24: This story is a goddamn mess, read if you want. !!This fanfic has MAJOR spoilers from Omori!! Kel is entering high school again with his friends. As little time goes on, the feelings he had for Sunny when they were younger had suddenly returned. How will he deal with these feeling? Things that should be kept in mind: This takes place in the point of view of Kel (So it is 1st person POV), this is a modernized alternative of the main story, and these events are taking place after Mari's death in the real world. Warning: there's a bunch of swears, jokes, timeline mistakes, and spelling/gramatical errors.
