We stood as one of the last civilzations. World War, after World War, the World itself was left with nothing, just a barren warfield. Nuclear weapons and unforseen technology detroyed what was left. Starvation. Government collaspe. But we had another more severe problem.

Gender population imbalance.

The female population was reduced to a small portion. We noticed it, we did. More males were in the camps than the females. But no one knew exactly why. Without proper laboratory equipment, and well, researchers, we couldnt genetically fix the problem. Hope slipped away.

I, Zara, one of the few females. Laws and rules are long gone. Anyone can do anything. Never know who can do what to me. I try to stay hidden and scower the desolate towns for food.

I was lone, until I found Jaxton.
