***Author's Note: This is the 2nd Installment of the 'American Bad Blood' Spin-Off Series. Please make sure to check out 'American Bad Blood' & 'American Bad Blood: City of Gold' by LePetiteJournaliste as well as my 1st novel of the Spin-Off Series 'Distortion' before reading 'Spotlight'. *** Heartbreak is hard, but when Eliza gets forced into the world of paparazzi, media, and fame, all thanks to the new 'Golden Boy' socialite Nick Hudson, life is even more complicated. Family wishes and astonishing revelations force her to protect her broken heart from the outside world in an unexpected way. Protecting her vulnerable state of mind while protecting the one she truly loves despite the truth behind him, makes her life extremely convoluted and confusing, especially now that her life is center stage and completely exposed in the spotlight of the extremely popular Media Mogul bachelor Nick Hudson. Meanwhile, Aidan steps up to a new mantle on top of playing as many sides as he can in order to get Eliza back. But what does he lose in the process? Will he ever get Eliza back? ***FULL DISCLAIMER: This book is for mature audiences! There's the possibility of sexual scenes, as well as some sexual and physical *abuse* scenes, and possible murder scenarios. It's basically in the description, it's a MAFIA/CRIME Romance Novel. ****Again, PLEASE make sure to read 'American Bad Blood: City of Gold' and Spotlight together (they compliment each other) AFTER reading the first ABB novel and Distortion. **** Also check out the collaborative Spotify inspirational/aesthetic playlist 'American Bad Blood'. (Link has been removed due to severe interference from random users! Please do not add songs to the playlist; that is for Creators ONLY. Just enjoy & listen to the songs to get the aesthetic of the stories. Please and thanks.) *** Don't forget to like, comment, and share! Seeing feedback is always welcome!

*****-"I've told you I'm not good for you." -he whispered still kissing her, lifting her so that her legs were already around his waist, now bringing them both back to the bed, laying on top of her proceeding to kiss her like it was the only thing he ever wanted to do in his life. But she responded with the same passion, every kiss, every touch, now taking off his shirt and unzipping his pants. She wasn't thinking. She surrendered. .... -"Fuck you Emma for doing this to me." -he whispered hearing her painful moan once he was inside of her. He felt cheated but he couldn't stop.***** This is a story about Andrew Smith, a 17-year old highschool student who is known not only as the school's bad boy but also a criminal and gangster with troubled life. His only goal is to move out of his home that he shares with his always drunk stepfather Bill and take his little sister with him. But once he meets Emma Garcia, straight A's popular but innocent girl from his school, the question is, will his plan change? This is a spin-off story from "Now You Are Mine" involving the backstory of a "Drew" character. Even though this story is connected to NYAM, you don't have to read both of them. Parts of those two stories do intervene and they share the same timeline. I suggest you read them both, but again it's not crucial for understanding each one of them. Also, the story is not suitable for those younger than 18 since it includes mature scenes of sex, violence, abuse etc., which are not by any means condoned by the author. With that said, thank you for reading and I hope you'll enjoy it! ps. I'm updating often.
