[bxb, gxg] When Reid Edwards is shoved into a locker by his bully on the last day of high school, 1970, he certainly doesn't expect to tumble straight into a room containing the high school's three oddballs. What ensues is a carefree summer full of drinking, dreaming, and watching the stars. But as Reid grows closer to the three of them, Art in particular, he's caught between his religious home life and the quickly snowballing gay rights movement that his new friends are determined to be a part of.
