From the office window of the BAU, four seasoned agents found themselves distracted-not by a case, but by the scene unfolding just outside their building. Aaron Hotchner, JJ, Derek Morgan, and David Rossi stood side by side, silently observing as Dr. Spencer Reid-resident genius and awkward sweetheart-stood beneath the mid-morning sun talking to a woman none of them recognized. She was beautiful-striking, confident, with a radiant smile that seemed to pull Spencer in like gravity. Her skin glowed under the light, her laugh melodic, her eyes locked on Spencer like he was the only one in the world. And to their collective shock, Reid wasn't stumbling over his words or nervously adjusting his satchel. He was laughing. Openly. Warmly. He looked... happy. Just then, Penelope Garcia walked up to the pair with her usual burst of energy and color.
