There's a new war against the dragons, each one of the dragon races wanting to take control over the entire land. 5 dragon eggs that glow on a Blue Moon are picked out of each race, and taken to a cave where they will be trained for 7 years before they are set free, to stop the war. Soon, the queens find out about the war, and to kill the five dragonets, they change the date of the war to one year earlier than it was suppose to be.

After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war. Both groups of dragonets have lived their entire lives in a lie, but one will end the war and make Pyrrhia the continent it was before. At the speed it was going, it caught fire, for the friction was very strong. It landed in a desert, and the egg was cracked. The baby dragon had its eyes closed and was engulfed with flames. But a single steak of luck meant that a SandWing, coming back from her visit to the Kingdom, had reached out for the dragonet. And the most peculiar thing about this dragonet? It had no wings. Wings of Fire: Lemming's Story by Echoes_of_Polaris

NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me.
