"I won't die," Kurono gritted out as he stared death in the face for what seemed like the hundredth time. The train came closer and closer, the weight of his last teammate's words, and that of her body, lay heavily upon him. "Do you hear what I'm saying? I - will - not - die - Gantz!" Kurono poised his arm forward and imitated a gun with his right thumb and forefinger and shouted, "Bang!" The train slowed to a terrifying stop inches from Kurono before everything went black.
