That's what he was defined as. He defeated the Royals. He overthrew the hierarchy. But became the monster he swore he would never become again. And it cost him the one person he ever cared about at the school. He hurt the one he cared about the most. Sera. He lost control. He continually fought himself to break free from his torture.
"Things around us aren't the same as they were before!" She said. "You don't have to go on like this!"
"I don't deserve better." "It's too late! I already f*cked up!" "I'm a monster." "Nothing I do will ever make up for what I've done. Nothing I do will ever be enough."
The world didn't need a monster like him. She no longer needed either. She had other friends, friends that would take care of her better than he ever could. It was too late for him. He wasn't needed anymore and took the next step to end it all. After all, if he no longer existed, he could no longer hurt anyone, right?

Urging John to reveal his power and help him break the distance, he does everything in his power to bring John, not into the hierarchy, but to accept himself and his past. But what happens when the jack, Arlo, overhears their discussion? Will John become the Joker? Or will he accept his power with the help of his cousin? That's for me to know, and you to find out.
