For some reason, Ink, the Creator and Protector of the Sans AUs, has decided that some of the Sanses of the Multiverse should go to highschool again. Honestly, no one really liked the idea, especially the Bad Sanses, including Ink's enemy, Error.
Prince Nightmare is one of the AUs that must repeat these years of treachery. He basically only finished his actual highschool, and is NOT looking forward to having to do it again. Luckily his brother, Prince Dream, will be coming along the journey beside him. But Nightmare and Dream Are polar opposites, so Nightmare can't really get along with his brother's friends, nor Dream get along with Nightmare's, if he had any.
With rules to follow and secrets to keep, Nightmare must go through highschool and not let slip the terrible things that happen at home.
But then suddenly the two princes disappear. There's no trace as to who might've taken them, either. The only one that doesn't seem concerned is their own father, the king. King Sun-Beam. What is he hiding underneath all of those jewels and fake smiles?


A/N:    There is lemon/smut. So all you innocent people out there-- don't worry! Because I warn you at every chapter, and right before it happens.

I designed the cover, but did the not the amazing artwork of Nightmare Sans. So credit goes to that person for the art. :D

Update!!!!: This story is being rewitten. I'm making another book that'll just be this one but a little different. Once that's posted, I'll make another  "chapter" in this one, giving a link to the rewrite.

This takes place in an AU thats not really an AU, seeing as there are no undertale characters. There is a "Gang" in this school, it is comprised of Nightmare, Error, Cross, Killer, Horror, and Dust. Everyone is afraid of them, except for the Star Sanses. Eventually, one of the star sanses, Ink, is able to befriend one of the bad guys, Error. Error starts to develop feelings for the artist, but, when something bad happens to Ink, error wonders if he'll ever get a chance. {This is an extremely slow-burn! You have been warned.}

Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations. Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance. He has accepted these but it gets tiring when he already has the voices bossing him around or Fate reminding him that he should do more destruction. But he doesn't limit himself to destruction. He watches UnderNovela, admires the stars, and appreciates what he can. He pushes the limits of what is expected of him or disregards them completely. A trait that Dream eventually finds himself admiring in him, the known enemy of his friend. He knows that Error's feelings are genuine since he doesn't change in his presence(still an angry manchild). So when Dream gets wounded and stuck with Error on a whim, where will it take them? Will it be a mistake remaining in a hatred of enemies or will it change them both for the better? Could this admiration open Error up to corrupting Dream or will he be the influence Dream needs to against expectations and live for himself?

I remember people saying that Blueberry and Swap aren't the same person. But they're actually two different versions of the same character from Swaptale. So initially interpret my Swap sans as whichever design as you want. But the personality is supposed to be of swaps design. I'm just calling him blue. !! They are frowned upon. Not considered the same. Sadly, most of them consist of young children. The angels and demons of course would fight. And at the heart of angel society, was Ink. He was the most cutest, pure, and innocent bean you could ever find. Then there was Nightmare. Being able to have him right around his fingers. Every year, if either on the Angel or Devil side, if there isn't another ruler to rule alongside the main one, or 'protector', then there is a specific time you have to find someone. Otherwise, you get kicked off as it is unfair to rule alone. The only reason Ink isn't kicked off is because he has someone ruling with him. Dream & Blue. Of course, Nightmare has only been able to stall by trying to find one, seeing them as not the one, and the counter gets reset. You can't do it forever though. Now, Ink terribly naive for a protector. Of course, he was the heart. He had a place in everyone's heart- With Dream & Blue being the next. Blue being a guard, and Dream being his 'right-hand man.' Most of the time being the one helping and guiding Ink. They soon find him to be missing, captured by the demons. Panic would be spread all over the place if they were to find out Ink was missing. With this, and a limited time to work with, considering if you were to officially become a ruler of somewhere, your heart has to actually want to leave if you were to leave. Would Dream and Blue be able to save Ink? Or would Ink become the next Queen? The next queen of the Demons? Join us on this journey to find out.
