They all seemed to be in a staring match for what felt like an eternity until the three wolves tucked tail and ran off in the other direction. I took this opportunity to scoot back until I hit a tree. Tears kept pouring down my face and I couldn't control my heart beating fast. I felt so hopeless. The wolf turned around to look at me. I knew I was gonna die. I was shivering and bleeding, I tried to stand but the pain in my ankle was too much.
The wolf wasn't moving, it just kept staring at me, and then it did something that turned my blood ice cold - the wolf transformed into a man.

Into The Light
I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me. I dipped and dodged around trees, careful not to trip or run into anything. Just a little further, I thought to myself. I knew I would be safe as soon as I saw the little cottage at the end of the thick forest. I was so close to my freedom, so close to opening the door. Bam! My body instantly became cold. Shit. I hopped on my bike and I started it and I drove off.
