"don't you ever wanna get out of here and go somewhere far, far away? from these people, this place?" hongseok motioned around the space he stood in, his arms stretched slightly. the man kneeling on the ground shook his head, a small laugh escaping his lips. "mm-mm." the older looked at him, head tilted to one side. he put one hand over his eyes, squinting them in an effort to make the other's face out underneath the sun's last rays. "why?" "why exactly? when i've already got all i need here with me." that's when he saw it. a smile so big, so bright, he thought he'd never need to see another sun in the sky. those brown eyes glittering in today's newborn night sky. his gaze softened at this, the hand now resting by his side. not a sound was heard but a quick stutter of the heart. no other person could ever disarm him quite like this. _______________ lowercase intended. story idea by me @emetselch

A light breeze set the branches above in motion, a rustling sound filling the ambience. Silence prevailed. A prominent sight of departure, yet bearing the promises of a faithful return. That's how it works, doesn't it? Good times following bad ones and ill hours trudging behind the blissful moments. But for him, that wasn't the occurrence. As there were no promises of happy hours, neither of revival and nor of a return. The change had already happened. And unfortunately, it was permanent. .・゜゜・ [A SEONGJOONG FANFICTION]
