I look at the top of the door "detention" is spelt in bold at the top I grumble as I remember how I got here (who knew you could get a detention from drawing creative cartoons of teachers) I open the door strolling in and sitting down at a random table

We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk.
