Micheal Hale POV
I was walking home from school one night after i had to stay behind for my grades dropping, But i don't really care its not my problem. As im walking home I look around at the dark empty streets of new york, no cars no dealers, no homless people, not a soul seems to be out tonight. I find it a little strange not seeing anyone, but i just keep walking, im not too far from my place.
"ya know you really shouldn't be out at this time of night kid its not safe." says an unknown voice behind me. As i go to look my entire body screams at me to dodge, as i do i see a black dagger hit the ground where i once was. "Oh so you dogged that, can't say im impressed but its not a first." The villian says to me in a calm but deadly tone. He continues to slash and throw his knifes at me as i run as fast as i can home, taking the allyways, it would be the fastest way home. As i run i throw all kinds of things at him ranging from trach cans to beer bottles, but he slices through everything before finally he sighes. "Man and here i thought i had found an inhuman to play with, guess it was only an above average human. UUUGGHHH, this is such a waste of my time." he then goes for the kill and launches his blade at my head to fast for me to see it, as it aproches me in slow motion i see my whole life flash before my eyes. I see my poor excuse of a childhood, the people i have to call family. Then somthing felt like it grabbed me and i was pulled away so fast it felt like my arm was ripped of. But when i looked back i saw my body still there frozen.

11/12/1952 Alright...so, today has been...uh...interesting to say the least. I was wandering around, fulfilling my usual quota of jack shit, I, like the sane lady I am, wandered into a back alley in a ghetto town full of thugs and known gang members, like the sane lady I am. Now usually this would just fine, despite the risk. Reason being, nothing usually happens in that part of town, its like a hallowed place, no evil, no death, no sin normally to speak of.....not today. Today, I was cornered. I was held at knife point in a back alley, fun right? Well.....for me it was. In fact, it was quite entertaining to watch that insufferable wretch choke on his own blood after I slit his throat with my beautiful blades, they're quite intricate. They have a dark wood grip with gold placement pins, stainless steel blade, and black steel rose pattern inlays on the flat of the blade....that little wretch should feel honored to meet the end of my blade! Although....I didn't really get to have my fun at first. He had the gall to grab me and attempt to cut me! He ruined my beautiful black suit! HE EVEN GRABBED MY HAIR! Calling it, "Interesting, unnatural, because of the black base with white ends." LIKE I DON'T KNOW ITS UNNATURAL! Either way, after that small misadventure I annihilated him thoroughly. Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Complete

"Let me leave" I growl trying again but he does it again, I quickly step the other side successfully getting round him. But just as I reach the door, his hand slams it shut I look at the door trying to control my anger. "Never, I'd never let you go" he says, voice slightly deeper and just above a whisper. I growled angrily at him and turn to face him, once again his eyes flash with emotions i dont understand. "What's the point in this Oscar, you clearly don't want me here, don't want me-" I started but completely gob smacked when he suddenly says. "Shut up!" My eyes widen as his did for a second before his eyes flick down for a second and I heard him mumble "that came out harsher then intended" My anger flares as I push his chest, it did nothing and he didnt move. "All I'll ever be to you is some broken, disgusting monster kid that doesn't do anything for you, so just let me leave Oscar. Let's say enough to this now" I snaps turning to try open the door. I was then suddenly grabbed and turned instantly, he pressing me hard against the door. "I dont find you broken nor disgusting" he growls, eyes flashing again before something seemed to flash in his eyes, a darker Oscar arrived and I was completely down for. "does this-" He suddenly grabs my hips and pulls them flash against his, pushing his front forward slightly. Something hard poked me, causing my face to redden. I gasp instantly when i feel him throb slightly, twitching as if he knew I was there. I felt him lean closer, his hot deep breaths in my ear causing me to close my eyes "does it feel like you do nothing for me?" He growls. His voice and actions cause a throbbing of my own to occur. He pulls back so we were looking into each other eyes "your far from a child iris and there's not a single day I've looked at you that way" his voice only seems to deepen. I felt a wetness build in my panties causing me to blush harder, his hands suddenly comes up and cups my face and I knew I was screwed.Complete

Standing on the path, my life flashed before my eyes. The gun directed at me, went off. I could see the flash and the bullet coming straight for me, but I'm frozen to the spot I'm standing, unable to move or think clearly. It only registered with me that the bullet pierced my skin when my body impacted on the cold wet cement. Lying there I could hear my heartbeat slow as my blood flowed from my body. I'm giving you a second chance.You are not my beloved so you will wake up a soulless killer with no remorse and a burning desire for blood. I can't give you a normal life but I'm giving you the chance for revenge. I can't tell you what to expect because I don't know myself. I have no idea why I'm changing you but something is telling me it is not you're time to die" I had no idea what he' s talking about, well not til I woke up. That night Ivy died and what was reborn is something dark and dangerous. He was right, I am a soulless monster. I have no remorse for the blood I shed. BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.Complete

Blade's eyes turned cold. Like a dark colored ocean that just froze. He took a frightening step forward so now his face was only inches from my face, even with his height, making my breath hitch in my throat. I could no longer breath. No longer see people repeatedly walking past my house. No longer hear those birds in the tree that were begging me to run. I could only see his dark blue eyes that held so much danger and anger. I could only hear his rapid breathing and even his fast heartbeat. I was just that dazed into his stare.... more like glare. "Is there someone else?" he said so low no one could hear but me. And I heard him. So clearly. I heard the threat telling me to say yes for he can make whoever the competition is disappear. I heard the anger he held behind his low tone. I heard the jealousy beyond anything. That was what clouded over everything. "N-no," I stuttered. I'm angry to admit I was scared. How he towered over me didn't make it any better. Standing proudly at maybe a 6'4 or 6'5. While I stood at a 5'5. He scanned my face trying to look for any sign of me lying. And when he backed up I knew he couldn't find one because what I said was indeed true. To be honest there was only him. And it seems like that is what it will always be.
