This is a romance between two anxiety driven otaku girls who admire each other from a far, they don't realize just how far their admiration could go.
Authors Note: This is based on a true story so some of said events have happened but slightly changed or altered also theres a lot of anime references sorry if you don't watch any ;-;
FYI the title has nothing to do with the story... It's just kinda a joke between me and Willow ;)

A funny word called Love
I ship OtaYuri both romantically and platonically, and I don't really have a preference, but seeing as very few fanfics give importance to platonic love, I thought that I would write one that did. If there's one take away from Yuri on Ice, it's that love is a valuable and precious thing that takes place in many forms. This story is off of one of my headcanons that Yuri and Otabek are both asexual and aromantic, and their friendship goes from being very small to being a qpr (a queer/quasi platonic relationship, which is like dating, except without any romantic aspects, and in this case, without sexual aspects as well). In an all boys boarding school surrounded by football players 18 year olds Alex, Sam, Jason and Parker have two years left in school. Two years, to find out who they really are or want to be, two years to heal and learn. No one said this was going to be easy. When Jason has to change school because of an incident, he doesn't expect to like it. And he doesn't. but he likes someone. Alex is an introvert. A quiet kid who doesn't like talking to People (except for his best friend Sam) and who likes to be on his own. but that changes when he gets a Roommate. Sam Is Alex' best friend. And Parker is his roommate. They dislike eachother... Until they don't. READ FULL BEFORE STARTING THE STORY: TW: This book is written lightly, but has also some really serious themes that I want you to know about before reading. It talks about abuse and there are some scenes where a character is having a panic attack. She's grown up in a two bedroom apartment with an alcoholic mother who never managed to pay the bills on time or even buy food, so the eldest two brother's always took the responsibility, and once they left it was passed on to the next brother. But eventually all her big brother's had left without looking back and it was just her, her twin Wes and their mother whenever she was around. They got along just fine for the next two years, they somehow managed to get through the tough times together and they thought it would stay that way, the two of them against the world. Until their mother got pregnant and they had the responsibility of raising their baby sister at the age of 11. They pulled through and it was now the three of them against the world. They believe they can get through anything and they hope that's true when suddenly the brothers who disappeared years ago start to show up looking to mend their relationship with the twins who hold a deep hatred for their older brothers. Can they fix the broken relationship with the twins and build a new one with their new baby sister? Or is it too late? --- It's better than it sounds.
