i. Crescendo Into Flames

When the lower half of the village in Zimeonhart was miraculously burnt to ashes in 726, many died and barely anyone survived. Xie Suyin, one survivor from the so called 'The Devil's Flame' is cast upon to the upper village of Zimeonhart to survive. Though being rejected by humanity for being what he doesn't know of, Suyin was left barely hanging onto a thin string. Will he be able to uncover the truth to his village's downfall?

Suyin has been travelling round the upper half of the village for quite a long while now, at least a year after the dreadful incident. He has no job and any source of income and purely lives on the weekly pay and kingdom pity of "insurance" as for being the last and only survivor from the Devil's Flame. He was granted a small house to live in, more so a room and his funds are all managed to limit himself from buying unnecessary things. Suyin studies at a small cram school, soon to graduate and find himself a job that'll make him forget everything. But of course, that could never be the case to a very unlucky man?
