A story I started writing in 2021 and decided to continue for fun-

Ila Violet wants to die. She has no desire to continue on her path of 'life' and nothing is binding her except maybe her friends and little brother. She hasn't exactly had the average life of a teenager, having been raised by herself since no one else stepped up to do it. But her life takes on a completely different meaning when she accidentally shifts to a make believe world that she has loved since she was a kid, Hogwarts. She has to balance her insane life in her DR and CR at the same time and lots of interesting things ensue.

Noah is a closeted gay who has been pressured by his parents to just act 'normal.' Being autistic and having social anxiety makes that difficult. Brad is your average popular guy. Captain of the football team (soccer) and pretty much every sport in existence. Death after death in his family has forced him into drug addiction. But he's fine. Right? Dahlia is your stunning no problem partying alcoholic friend. Keeping her past under wraps is kinda her job. That and making sure her brother doesn't get arrested. Matthew may as well not know what the law is because I'm pretty sure he's broken at least half of the rules in there. Narrowly escaping Juvie several hundred times is the best he can do from his sister Dahlia murdering him. Side characters: Alice is a girl who has to be best at everything. She's the smartest girl in her year, but under the pressure of her family she snaps. Mason is kind of the school oddball. He isn't that smart and he's pretty nosy and weird. He's the kind of that is mainly described as a downright idiot. But he's okay when you get to know him.

So I had the idea of writing a version of the story where Harry was born a girl, but there are loads like that already, so I thought I would try instead doing a kind of LGBTQ+ version where he is transformed and then has to deal with experiencing this difference of gender identity. But I'm not very knowledgeable about all the gender identity stuff, so I'm sorry if I get anything wrong, and please feel free to message me so I can try and fix it. Also, trigger warning; the story gets a bit dark after he comes out as trans male. He has to deal with the conflict from other characters that don't accept his identity at first. So some of the mean ones are transphobic and misgendering etc. But I'm going to let you know now that there will be a happy ending eventually, so hopefully it won't be too hard to get through the difficult parts.
