Kircher Covell, former criminologist, had suffered severe nerve damage in his arms and legs in an accident 5 years earlier. The genius criminologist spent his days bedridden, furious at life for taking away everything he loved.

His expertise would be needed when a series of gruesome deaths start piling up and no one could stomach to look at the scenes.

His legs being what they were he couldn't search the crime scenes himself, so they had to find someone to do exactly as he said.

The lucky.. or not so lucky.. beat cop who found the first body, Ashton Gunn, would be his new apprentice. And she was quite the fast learner.

Together, will Covell and Gunn be able to solve this before it's too late?
