Once upon a time there was a village in the woods. Yet it was no fairytale life. Once in a while the village would be shaken up by a series of deaths, some accidently, some intentionally, by axe, by crossbow, by pitchfork or by the occasional beheading but most of the poor victims were killed in an animal attack, limbs torn off, throats ripped open, scratches and bitemarks all over their bodies. It was no pretty sight. The animals that were responsible for these attacks were the red-eyed wolves. Everyone in the village knew these vicious creatures that killed without mercy. So how would you like to read the story of one of these wolves? The story about the girl that was both human and wolf.

Now, Red is a story book character, but here is a story that nobody has ever heard of before. Red Ridinghood is a wolf hunter to the third degree. She is twenty five with brown hair. Her eyes as white as ice. This is how werewolves think that she's one of them, but she's not. Red carries around a bow and arrow in her little basket so that she doesn't seem suspicious. Her gran made it for her before she died from a werewolf attack. Red's first werewolf was at the age of fifteen when gran died and she has been killing ever since. But let's just go through the background details. When Red was about five, she got a red hood and a basket. She would always go from her little cottage to Gran's old home by a pathway, that was eroded with weeds and daisies, so that she could deliver her mother's famous home made jam drop biscuits. Now this is a time without any cars so it was about a half an hour's walk. Yes, Red would always hear things in the forest an turn around to see who it was. No one there. So she kept walking. I shuddered. It had never been so dark, nor so quiet before. There was always the light of the moon to guide me. The sound of the wind against the trees. I shook the thought from my mind and continued further into the wood. Then I saw it. A white light spread across the ground in front of me. The clouds had parted from where they were, revealing the moon at its fullest. I stared in awe. It had never been so bright. The ambiance began to come back. The wind began to dance with the trees. I closed my eyes. The scent of oak filled my nose and exhaled through my mouth. The aroma filled me with exhilaration. It filled me with something I couldn't explain. I felt something I hadn't felt in a long time. Although it was something I wasn't used to feeling, I craved it deeply. I felt happy. I felt as if nothing else mattered than this moment. I opened my eyes. Everything seemed clearer. I could see the particles of dust flying in the beam of light that shone around me. I wanted to stay here for longer. I wanted this moment to last forever. Until I saw the wolf. It was hidden among the fold of trees behind me. It stared at me in aggravation. It's brows furrowed in my direction.
