Once upon a time there was a village in the woods. Yet it was no fairytale life. Once in a while the village would be shaken up by a series of deaths, some accidently, some intentionally, by axe, by crossbow, by pitchfork or by the occasional beheading but most of the poor victims were killed in an animal attack, limbs torn off, throats ripped open, scratches and bitemarks all over their bodies. It was no pretty sight. The animals that were responsible for these attacks were the red-eyed wolves. Everyone in the village knew these vicious creatures that killed without mercy. So how would you like to read the story of one of these wolves? The story about the girl that was both human and wolf.

Her gran made it for her before she died from a werewolf attack. Red's first werewolf was at the age of fifteen when gran died and she has been killing ever since. But let's just go through the background details. When Red was about five, she got a red hood and a basket. She would always go from her little cottage to Gran's old home by a pathway, that was eroded with weeds and daisies, so that she could deliver her mother's famous home made jam drop biscuits. Now this is a time without any cars so it was about a half an hour's walk. Yes, Red would always hear things in the forest an turn around to see who it was. No one there. So she kept walking.
