Amanda Lone was minding her business walking home from an 8-hour-shift at the local café when she felt this excruciating pain at the side of her head along with a deafening sound. Before she could register what happened, she fell unconscious.
Three days later, she woke up in an unfamiliar room, with monitors and drips attached to her. She started to look around the dark room to find some clue as to where she was because this was no hospital.
Amanda squeaked when she looked to the left of her and saw a gray-eyed man staring at her intently.
"Sorry, I shot you." The mystery man said before walking out of the room.
