A bruiseless corpse washes up upon the gravel shores of Califia Beach on a balmy sunny morning. An notorious missing person's case comes to an end with a deceased young girl's body is found with no sudden cause of death. After a week of investigation, the death is ruled as a "drowning ." The victim's parents know that something else must have happened to their girl and continue to push for the investigation to remain open.
Adele Cunningham's life is finally starting to feel comfortable and bearable again. She's starting to get back to her confident and bubbly self, slowly but surely. She doesn't feel like a sore thumb or lonely anymore within her environment, just a normal "happy girl." But how could this happen to strong swimmers in a shallow loch with no currents? The investigation commences and it's clear the police are struggling to find answers. Radically they suggest calling in special advisors to assist the investigation - the Paranormal Investigation Team (PIT). Will they fare better than the local police force?
