It's said that if two people are destined to be together, they will always find a way back into eachothers arms.
Perhaps that is why when Karl Jacobs crash lands into a world that is very much not his own yet full of familiar faces, he is immediately drawn to Sapnap. No matter the differences he may have to Karl's own version of him, the dimension-hopping traveler can't help but fall in love all over again. Is it fair to take this life as his own and abandon the ones that he has lost? Is he allowed to keep this man, warm and bright and everything Karl knows he needs, his kindred soul, even after all he has done?
The clock is ticking to figure out what path is right. Will he be able to keep his one true love? Or will he be forced to watch once more as everything he loves is torn away, thrust back into an endless loop of tragedy?

This is a blazenap au based heavily upon the origins mod pack! There will be many characters from the dream smp who appear, and I will add them to the tags as they come, however this is not the DSMP's version of Karl! Their stories are similar, but also very much different, so expect some canon divergence!

To put it simply, this story is about two soulmates, a strange companion and narrator, and the adventure of a lifetime. . . . You're still curious, aren't you? Very well, I'll describe this story out in a bit more detail to you. Karl is running away. Why? Well, he has a soulmate, and he's not too happy about it. He's seen the things love can do, and he isn't keen on having it for himself. His necklace had been dormant for 2 years and he'd thought that maybe his soulmate lived across the continent and he'd never have to worry about seeing them, but now the lightning was glowing, signalling that they were probably also in the Capital. It's a risk leaving the only thing he's known his entire life, the safety of the castle, but he has to get away from his soulmate. So, now he's walking away from the Capital, about to go on a wild adventure. Sapnap, on the other hand, has been looking forward to meeting his soulmate for his entire life. When he wakes up the day after his 18th birthday to a gradually dimming necklace, he takes executive action and decides to follow his soulmate. The guy isn't much of a survivalist, but luckily he has a friend in the shape of an almost-god to help him along the way. Is that enough detail for you? SapNap didn't do it by himself or because he wanted to. He did it to fit in the entire football team including his friend bullied Karl.
