Lanson is turned 18. His coronation is in a few days, however he doesn't want to become king. being raised in the castle with no area to escape due to the new kingdom laws from princess escaping he has been held there all his life. He starts noticing things in the castle going missing and try's to find out why. he soon realizes a boy of his age is stealing from the castle at night. He eventually meets the young man at his window after he came up to listen to Lanson's humming. They end up becoming friends, and on the day of coronation something unexpected happens, that just might make their friendship grow closer.
