Excerpt from White Lands Emperor Mallock's Guide For Survival:
1. Always be perfect.
2. Never rise above average.
3. Be a push-over.
4. Be obedient.
5. Never break the rules.
6. And above all, NEVER HAVE A PERSONAL OPINION.

One problem: Zoe Brook isn't perfect. Zoe Brook isn't a push-over. And although she sometimes may not rise above average, Zoe Brook is chaotic, rebellious, stubborn and hot tempered, a lethal combination in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by two controlling brothers.
She knows that first hand, after all, her only chance of escape-her brother-was executed for all the world to see. It's a shame she wasn't invited.
If it weren't for a key and a desperate need for freedom, then Zoe would have long ago fallen into the clutches of depression.
Now it's time to get revenge...

[New Adult Apocalyptic Romance] Summary: Most of the population is dead, some have turned into vicious, crazed creatures who want nothing more than to eat you, and a small percentage are left to try to survive. Nothing is the way it was. With not much more than a pistol and a vague idea of what she's doing, Claire Harrington ventures out into this new, unforgiving world with only one real goal: to keep her younger sister safe. The odds are against her, until she runs into Parker and finds herself reluctantly accepting his offer to help. Trust is a fragile thing. Humanity is a construct. Love is a weakness. But these are the thoughts of a survivor, and she's beginning to wonder if surviving is all she wants. Maybe she wants to live.
