Nightmares are anything but just dreams for Nyx Evergarden. When her power to manipulate the shadows grows too strong, her mother is forced to find a school that can tame the darkness that revels within her daughter. But the school is anything but what she signed up for. She uncovers that there are two parallel planes of existence, one light; one dark. These two planes have been at war for centuries under the public's nose, and Nyx is about to find herself caught in the middle.
