Emily is a high school girl, repeating her 2nd year of 12th grade. Every since her father died she hasn't been the same. She gets into trouble every chance she gets, and feels that due to her behavior everyone has lost hope in her ever turning her life around. But not Mr. Heins.
Emily and Mr. Heins grow close, but maybe too close. This isn't your ordinary teacher student friendship. They both fall for each other, but how would this affect both of their lives?
