Zahara is a young woman on the search for a place to fit in in majestic Italy. Quite frankly, being friends with the literal Greek God of War and having telekinetic powers doesn't exactly help with that attempt, but that doesn't stop her from trying. After discovering a long-lost gift from her birth father sends her on an epic quest of self-realisation and trial, she must trust her new friends and her instincts in order to save her world and her family.
Sarafena is an killer-for-hire, trained by the best contract killers in the world from a young age. After killing one too many people that she shouldn't mess with, she is on the run from not only the United States government, but a race of beings that she didn't know existed. When she runs into a girl with strange powers who offers her a chance to redeem herself, she must find it within herself to do good and survive as she was taught to do.
This uneasy friendship will be tested, their wills brought to their brinks, and their ideals to their knees. Will they be strong enough to survive the war of Gods and Shadows that has been brought back to Earth? Or will they crumble under the pressure?
