April has always been told to never enter the Forbidden Woods. They told her of frightening monsters that swallowed up the UnCounts who dared defy the Councils rules. Until her Grandmother dies, she thought she was an UnCount, but then she stows away on a boat she discovers to Hyperion, land of the Hypersouls. Unbeknowst to her tagalongs, and possible murderer, she sets off to the city to figure out who she truly is. After discovering her followers, she sets off in hope of finding hypersoul roots. After meeting with the Council, and making a few friends, April attends Wondersteel academy in hopes of discovering more about her family.
Is in both hers and Mavis (a friend of hers) Pov, 1st person. A few scenes from Dolions pov, but enough spoilers. Go read!!
