I'd Write it All

Harry quickly grabs my hand to steady me. I stop for a minute before pulling my hand away sharply. He steps back, not realizing what he did. I turn to go because I can not let this happen again. I've built walls for a reason.

"Delilah, wait-"

"I should probably go now, I wrote you a song and don't plan on making the same mistakes with you again, so that means I'm done here." I reply more harshly than I mean to.

He takes a small step towards me and studies my face with furrowed brows.

"I'm sorry. Can't we just be friends?" He says in sincerity that I can't tell is fake or real.

"I'll get back to you on that."

Delilah Bailey moved to London for a fresh start and a new chance to write songs. As she begins to get big, she starts writing songs for a band called One Direction. While she's writing, she meets Harry Styles and he helps her finish one of the songs she's been working on for a while. Delilah and Harry get close, but he leaves without a second thought as soon as he needs to. A year later, she needs to work with the boys for their next album Midnight Memories, which involves seeing Harry again. Their relationship grows again, though Delilah tries to keep her distance. As much as Delilah loves writing, she's always wanted something more too. She might just get that when Zayn leaves the band, but nothing is ever as easy as it seems.
