"Where are they?" Ace asked as he loaded his gun. "I don't know. We'll have to find them." I whispered. "Fuck, Preston, you should know this shit! That's why I don't allow girls into this gang!" Ace spat at me. "Fuck you, fuck your life, bitch! I hate you, Ace! It's not that serious!" I regreted the words as soon as they came out, for the unknown bullet plunged deep into my chest, causing me to fall back and die in my own pool of blood.

The Devil is Marvelous
"Ava, you have to be quiet! They'll hear you-" Tears started to spill from my eyes, blending in with the rain that dripped down my face. I shouldn't have come here. The last time I followed someone I made accidentally noise and got them killed. I had to get away from Jaxon. I turned on my heel, ready to run to, but Jaxon grabbed my wrist. "Let go" I choked, "I have to leave. You're in danger-" The next thing I knew, his lips crashed onto mine. His arms wrapped around my body, pulling tightly to his chest. "Stop it" I sobbed, unable to control my trembling. "Why are you doing this? Let me go-" "I had to get you quiet" he murmured. "Please Ava. You have to try to calm down. I understand you're scared right now, but you have to trust me. We're going to get home safely. Stay with me a few more minutes, and then we'll get the f*ck out of here. I promise." -- A little about Ava: She has made the long move from Detroit, Michigan to California to escape her gruesome past. She moves in with her older sister, and is ready to start her junior year of high school. Despite the demons she carries, she holds onto hope for a bright future. A little about Jaxon: he's 17, and Oceanview High's resident bad boy. He comes from the Marvel family, a family of cold-hearted millionaires who don't seem to care much about their kids. How To Self Destruct?
I pace around the waiting room of the hospital as Jakira was sitting down shaking her leg nervously. The hospital was busy as nurses were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. People in stretchers were coming in and out as well, as Melanie and Alexis finally arrived. "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO MY SISTER DYLAND!" Melanie screams at me as she sprints toward me attacking me. "You fucking murderer!" She snaps as she grabs my hair pulling on it as Alexis tries to grab her off of me. "He didn't kill her!" Jakira tries to tell Melanie but she wasn't listening as her eyes were swollen from crying. I grab her arms pulling them to her sides and hugging her. "I'm sorry Melanie." I tell her as she calms down for a second before pushing me off of her. What happens when a man neglects his responsibilities? Or when he finds it hard to control his impulses?
