Dual POV This story starts off right after Max made the choice to sacrifice Arcadia Bay, leaving only her and Chloe as survivors. Without anywhere else to go, the duo hit the open road, desperate to run away from their past. It has been over a year since Arcadia Bay was destroyed Chloe and her parents and all survivors from Blackwell were moved by the state one town over. Max and Chloe find trouble with the people around them, old enemies and friends return. Most people are ok with Max and Chloe being a couple but they find someone they know quite closely doesn't agree.
