Andre threw his head back and screamed in agony as the flames began to consume his flesh. Just than Athan gently placed his huge hand in front of my eyes. "You don't need to see this darling" He was right I didn't need to see it. But I could still hear his screams of agony as I knew he was dying the most terrible death. He didn't deserve it. Tony deserved it not Andre. The screams lasted hours because vampires were hard to kill. And finally they stopped. Athan uncovered my eyes and my tears covered his hand that held my eyes shut. He didn't bother to wipe my tears from his hand but instead ran his fingers through my matted hair. I glanced over to the tree that held Andre's body but my head was jerked away and I met the gaze of Athan immediately. "You don't wanna look" he said with sorrow in his own voice.
