Every time she cracks open The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings, 18-year-old Arella can't put them down. She feels like she knows each character personally. She feels the thrill of the adventure and the great friendship that connects all the characters. When she takes a trip to New Zealand with her family to visit her dying Aunt, Arella reads the books with her to pass the time. However strange things begin to happen. Things that occur in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings are now happening in Arella's life! Are the books alive, or is Arella's stomach upset from too many chocolate bars? As she continues to read the books, Arella believes she has somehow become part of the story. Her thoughts are proven true as she is thrown into Middle Earth. It is now up to Arella to go into The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings stories and help the characters continue on their journey. However there is one rule she must follow.
No matter what, she can't change the story line.

LOTR: The problems with Thursday - Merry Brandybuck FF
You all know Merry Brandybuck yes? The hobbit who fell down the hill and landed on a carrot, Who joined the fellowship, who helped the Ents over run Isengard, Who became an esquire of Rohan? yeah that guy. Well this is a story involving him. It takes place just before they set out on their adventure to destroy the one ring and save middle earth. But this isn't just about Merry. There's another who you won't have heard of. Alora Headstrong is a young hobbit of the shire, Bywater to be more precise. She is the height of 3ft 6" and has short chocolate brown hair which is always curled perfectly. Her eyes are a deep blue/green colour and she is quite smart as you would say. Anyway, this is the story of how she find a new friend (Merry) while disobeying her father, over comes most of her fears and maybe, just maybe, finds the guy of her dreams. After meeting Merry 18 years prior, and then being forbidden from leaving the house on her own, Alora is given permission from her father to go to a party at the Green Dragon Inn. There she spots somebody who looks strangely familiar... After becoming friends, she soon finds herself falling for a guy. But two things stand in their way. Alora's Father and a bit of competition. Every so often this blood acts up, resulting in a hobbit being born who's just a little bit...different. Such was the case with the birth of Bilba Baggins, daughter of Bungo and Belladonna Baggins. She's a little more wild than most, a little more adventurous, and a lot more prone to rescuing long lost dwarven princes from the clutches of vile Necromancers, befriending wargs and aiding in the reclamation of kingdoms from megalomaniac dragons. 3 women expectantly find themselves in a world they read about in books. They end up helping a company of 13 dwarves and a wizard along with their new friend and father figure, Bilbo Baggins. These women all feel connected to middle earth and don't know why. They each have secrets that they keep from the rest in hopes of them finding out the truth about who they are and why they feel more at home. They all happen to find their real family but one of them learns a powerful secret about them. What is even more complicated is that they fall in love and try to run away because they know that they wont be staying long yet a part of them wants to know what will happen if they give in to their feelings? How will they handle what they are and What will they choose? Will they fight for what they want or will they run away, hurting themselves and the ones they love? This is a fanfic. All of the credit goes to JRR Tolkien and Peter Jackson. I don't own anything except Renee, Katherine and Lilith. Also this is my first fanfic so bare with me. I also got the inspiration from The three women of Durin. Please go and read it because it is absolutely amazing. So enjoy. I will update at least twice a week. Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings
This story is using characters and places from both the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings universes. If you know either 1 or neither of these stories this will probably not make any sense to you though you might still enjoy it. Further more please bare in mind my spelling punctuation and grammar is not the best so please excuse it. Finally if you enjoy it please let me know so I know to make more. For these stories I am not including 19 years later or by extention the curse child. I also tweaked some of the lord of the rings universe to suite the story. I don't have the time to list all of them but you should probably know the significant ones: Frodo was now 13 at the beginning of the events of the lord of the rings rather than 50 and he went to the undying lands when he was 14. Hobbits can now be of magical blood. Half-Blood, Pure-Blood, Muggle-Born and Squib. Sam, Merry, Pippin and Rosie are now all the same age as Frodo. Middle Earth is east of America and South West of UK. All people's of Middle Earth of magic born are sent to Hogwarts as geograficaly it is closest. Hobbits are slightly taller than they were before as otherwise it would be a little odd. And some other things I changed from Harry Potter are: Their is a wizarding university now. Harry and Frodo's parents were friends as they also went to hogwarts. Voldemort and Bellatrix were never a thing so no Delphini. Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw were a thing when they were alive. (significant later in the story) I also invented new characters for this story.
