Every time she cracks open The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings, 18-year-old Arella can't put them down. She feels like she knows each character personally. She feels the thrill of the adventure and the great friendship that connects all the characters. When she takes a trip to New Zealand with her family to visit her dying Aunt, Arella reads the books with her to pass the time. However strange things begin to happen. Things that occur in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings are now happening in Arella's life! Are the books alive, or is Arella's stomach upset from too many chocolate bars? As she continues to read the books, Arella believes she has somehow become part of the story. Her thoughts are proven true as she is thrown into Middle Earth.  It is now up to Arella to go into The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings stories and help the characters continue on their journey. However there is one rule she must follow.

No matter what,  she can't change the story line.

Isola is a young hobbit woman who lives in the Shire with her less than parent worthy father. So she spends most of her free time with her cousin, Bilbo Baggins. One day, a wizard whom she vaguely remembers as Gandalf, comes to her while she is at work and asks her to join him and Bilbo at dinner that night for talk of a quest. She agrees to come to dinner, and is suprised to find a whole company of dwarves who are charming in their own way at her cousin's home. Isola joins the company for the adventure, and she learns that family does not have to be blood, and what it means to belong. And unexpected to her, she finds the one she'll never forget, and the one she'll never let go of. I would like to add that the chapters you read will not be fully edited until I complete the book. So there will be typos, flaws in the plot, ect. I am going to do some heavy editing at the end. Everything up until then is more of a draft. I do not own anything exept for Isola and some added plot. Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings by redcloakjr

This story is using characters and places from both the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings universes. If you know either 1 or neither of these stories this will probably not make any sense to you though you might still enjoy it. Further more please bare in mind my spelling punctuation and grammar is not the best so please excuse it. Finally if you enjoy it please let me know so I know to make more. For these stories I am not including 19 years later or by extention the curse child. I also tweaked some of the lord of the rings universe to suite the story. I don't have the time to list all of them but you should probably know the significant ones: Frodo was now 13 at the beginning of the events of the lord of the rings rather than 50 and he went to the undying lands when he was 14. Hobbits can now be of magical blood. Half-Blood, Pure-Blood, Muggle-Born and Squib. Sam, Merry, Pippin and Rosie are now all the same age as Frodo. Middle Earth is east of America and South West of UK. All people's of Middle Earth of magic born are sent to Hogwarts as geograficaly it is closest. Hobbits are slightly taller than they were before as otherwise it would be a little odd. And some other things I changed from Harry Potter are: Their is a wizarding university now. Harry and Frodo's parents were friends as they also went to hogwarts. Voldemort and Bellatrix were never a thing so no Delphini. Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw were a thing when they were alive. (significant later in the story) I also invented new characters for this story. I really hope you enjoy and I didn't bore you with this I just thought you ought to know.
