Marinette Dupen-Cheng's parents had lied to her, no just mother. Her father was never there. Her life started to turn upside down when she came across her mom's old stuff. Then it all just got more down hill from there. When her mother took her to get a genetics test, Marinette found she was related to her mom and never related to the Dupens. She wasn't even a Dupen-Cheng. They found match for who her father was though. Luka Couffaine.
