The Harper household has always been a strict one, one with firm words and sharp eyes. Yet like every other story, there's always one person who can burn it down with a single flick of their wrist. In this fanfic of Harry Potter, that person is Cassandra, or Cassie, someone who smirks when she hears the number sixty-nine, or simps over girls and boys alike with a lovestruck gaze. However she is also the one that knowingly drove her cold mother clinically insane, the person who shook Dumbledore to his core with a grin, and the one that Tom Riddle wanted as a weapon.
Of course, Cassie is still just a girl. She has her first schoolgirl crush, her first Quidditch match, first kiss, her first love, followed by heartache and a slow burn recovery, only to trip once more over someone under her nose all along. She, like every student, has her bad days, some worse than others. One day it's 'my mother has someone else's blood all over her face and is gracefully dancing around the room,' and another it's, 'we did not learn this-, what when?'
