It's been a couple of months since they started dating, each going on with their lives, but, with a new blooming relationship between the two. But unfortunately, when your people like Dazai and Chuuya, not everything stays cheerful. Chuuya develops anxiety over the thought of Dazai leaving him again but decides not to let his mackerel of a boyfriend know for fear of hurting Dazai's feelings for mistrusting him. He does not want some 'anxiety' to break the relationship he and Dazai have been longing to begin. Of course, Chuuya should have known that he couldn't hide his inner thoughts from his intelligent (man's literally a detective!) boyfriend. Synopsis: It has been years since Dazai felt the need to help Chuuya out, but now that Chuuya was stuck in Poe's novel it only made Dazai feel things he wasn't aware of. Will Dazai and his big-brain figure out how to bring Chuuya back from that endless prison? And what is going to happen with the two of them once everything goes back to normal? The story takes place after season 3 (no spoilers from the manga) It's all my own headcanons of what happens after season 3. However, with time Chuuya changes, but Dazai doesn't understand what happened to his old partner. Heart broken and afraid he took both the Akutagawa siblings, took the bare minimum, and left the port mafia, running away to France. He wrote a long letter for his now ex fiance and left his ring. They were meant to get married in a month. Dazai was angry and heart broken. A week later Oda died. He left and joined the ADA. Now it's been 4 years. Atsushi just joined the ADA a month ago and no one knows about Dazai's past. But the past will show soon. Chuuya is coming with his family, the Akutagawa's now Nakahara's who he officially adopted, and his new fiance to visit Japan for a month. What will happen and what will be revealed. Dazai after trying to drown himself in a river gets sick, but luckily a certain chibi is there to help him get better. This encounter leads to their relationship deepening, but will they be able to survive new missions? And will Dazai be able to hide his past from the ADA? Update as of 8/23/2025: Sorry people who clicked for a nice light fluff fic, I really did mean to write one, but well lets say it did not work out that way. This fic does include moderate to severe angst, so if you do not want to read that I suggest looking for a different more wholesome fic ;-;.
