Currently undergoing a rewrite! Mr. Aizawa knew that Melissa was used to being underestimated, most assuming she wasn't capable, either because of her sweet demeanor, lack of a quirk, or thinking she was just a nepo baby in the science world. Sure, he had a short temper and a less than pleasant personality, but at his core was a thirst to be the best, to be great.
