But, as luck would have it, he is also one of the only people she could go to for help when her castle is attacked. 

And so, the journey begins. Elizabeth learns more about the man she thought she despised, and the laws she thought would protect everyone. Her beliefs are questioned, and she struggles to decide whether what she's doing is right. 

In the end, nothing is as ideal as she thought it would be.
